DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 21 --  A veteran politician in the country, Hamad Rashid Mohamed, has offered advice to the Commission of Inquiry into violence during and after the 2025 General Election on strategies to be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future to promote lasting peace and stability in the country.

The former politician from the Alliance for Democratic Change (ADC), who previously served as a Member of Parliament and Zanzibars Minister for Health gave the advice during his meeting with the Commission that was held at the offices of the Bank of Tanzania (BoT) in Dar es Salaam, on Wednesday.
