DODOMA, Feb. 19 -- THE Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) has launched VSOMO, a mobile-based platform that allows citizens to learn, practice, and complete exams for technical skills directly from their smartphones.
At a press briefing at the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports in Dodoma, CPA Anthony Kasore, VETAs Director General, explained that VSOMO gives learners the freedom to study anywhere, at their own pace.
“Once learners finish the online theoretical lessons, they will attend practical sessions at a VETA college. This reduces time spent on campus while maximizing the use of smartphones and learning time,” he said.
