PARIS, Dec. 10 -- THE Tanzanian youth organization, African Leadership Initiatives for Impact (ALII), has been awarded the UNESCO Global Citizenship Education Award in recognition of its significant contribution to promoting peace and development to over 50,000 Tanzanian youth.
The award ceremony, sponsored by the Republic of Korea, took place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
The award was formally received by ALII Executive Director Joseph Malekela and ALII Board Chair Neema Chusi.
