DODOMA, Aug. 15 -- UNITED Democratic Party (UDP) presidential candidate, Saum Rashid, today collected nomination forms from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Ndejengwa, Dodoma City, to contest for the positions of President and Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania under the partys ticket.

Ms Saum, who arrived at around 9:46 a.m. in high spirits, was accompanied by her running mate, Juma Khamis Faki, and a group of party supporters.

The duo was received by INEC Director of Elections, Ramadhani Kailima.
