DAR ES SALAAM, June 10 -- TWIGA produced a disciplined all-round display to defeat Tembo by eight runs in the Tanzania Womens Cricket Premier League 2026 match played at Annadil Burhani Oval in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

Defending a modest total of 99-6 from their 20 overs, Twiga restricted Tembo to 91-9 in a tense contest that went down to the final over. After being sent in to bat, Twiga struggled to score freely against a controlled Tembo bowling attack but managed to build crucial partnerships to post a competitive total.
