MARA, March 18 -- THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in Mara Region, through the Sirari border post in Tarime district, has distributed industrial goods confiscated from traders who smuggled them illegally to various public institutions, including schools and hospitals.

Pascal Kiondo, the Customs Officer in charge at Sirari, stated that the Commissioner of Customs has the legal authority to allocate these goods to public institutions. The items distributed include cement, fertilizers, sanitary towels, and medical supplies.
