DODOMA, April 3 -- POLICE in Dodoma are holding three suspects in connection with the murder of a bodaboda rider, Omary Bakari (21), who was allegedly killed in a robbery incident.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday by Dodoma Regional Police Commander, ACP Gallus Hyera, the incident occurred on March 21, 2026 at around 9:30 pm at Chinyoya Street, Kilimani Ward in the city.

He said the deceased, a resident of Michese, was attacked and stabbed with a sharp object on the neck and back by assailants who intended to steal his motorcycle.
