DAR ES SALAAM, July 10 -- THE Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) has stepped up quality assurance for infrastructure projects through its network of modern laboratories, reinforcing efforts to ensure roads, bridges and other public infrastructure are built to high standards and remain durable.

Speaking at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as Sabasaba, TARURA Research and Quality Control Technician Jacob Manguye said the laboratories play a critical role in testing construction materials and verifying the quality of works before, during and after project implementation.
