DAR ES SALAAM, April 25 -- KISARAWE Rally 2026, Tanzanias opening round of the National Rally Championship (NRC), has been postponed to July this year due to inclement weather.

The events chief coordinator and sponsor, Masaim Fazal confirmed today, April 25, 2026 in Dar es Salaam, saying the inclement weather has made all sections impassable.

“We are forced to postpone the season opener for the safety of drivers, their cars and spectators because all the sections to be used have been confirmed unfriendly for the dusty road racing,” noted Fazal, who is one of the Tanzanian motorsports legends with an excellent performance in navigation.
