DAR ES SALAAM, July 29 -- THE National Sports Council (BMT) has said the arrival of American international swimming coach Ben Lee presents an important opportunity for local coaches to enhance their skills and learn modern techniques used in the development of the sport globally.

The statement was made by BMT Sports Officer Petro Chelula while receiving the coach at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam.

He encouraged swimming coaches across the country to participate in the special training programme to be conducted by Ben Lee, saying it will provide international-level knowledge that will help improve coaching abilities and nurture the talents of Tanzanian swimmers.
