SEOUL, Dec. 11 -- TANZANIA has earned international acclaim after the Internet Society Tanzania Chapter (ISOC-TZ) won the Seoul Smart City Prize 2025, a recognition of its significant role in advancing public health services through digital innovation.

The award celebrates the achievements of the SmartJiji Public Health Project, implemented under the Tanzania Digital Inclusion Project (TADIP).

TADIP forms part of the national Digital Tanzania Project, spearheaded by the Government through the Ministry of Information, Communication and Information Technology, with financing from the World Bank.
