DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 6 -- THE Outgoing French Ambassador to Tanzania, Anne-Sophie Avé, has been praised for strengthening diplomatic relations and promoting cultural cooperation between Tanzania and France during her tenure.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, commended the envoy during a farewell meeting held in Dar es Salaam, thanking her for deepening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation in culture, arts and sports.

Ambassador Kombo said Ms Avé played a key role in promoting cultural exchanges through initiatives such as kanga design competitions, sports photography contests and other activities that strengthened people-to-people ties between the two countries....
