DAR ES SALAAM, March 27 -- Tanzanias newly appointed Ambassador to Oman, Maulidah Hassan, has been tasked with strengthening economic diplomacy and protecting the interests of Tanzanians abroad as she prepares to take up her new post.
The directive was issued by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, during a farewell meeting held at the ministrys offices in Dar es Salaam.
During their meeting, the Minister congratulated Ambassador Maulidah on her appointment and commended her for her contributions while serving as the Presidents Personal Assistant for diplomatic affairs.
