DODOMA, April 27 -- THE Minister for Minerals, Anthony Mavunde, has requested Parliament to approve a 174,98bn/- budget for the Ministry of Minerals and its institutions for the 2026/2027 financial year, in order to facilitate the implementation of planned activities and objectives as well as the collection of government revenues.
While presenting the ministrys revenue and expenditure estimates in Parliament, Minister Mavunde said the ministry expects to collect revenues amounting to 1.406bn/- during the same financial year, hence seeking parliamentary approval for the proposed expenditure budget.
