DAR ES SALAAM, July 15 -- IT has been duly confirmed today, July 15, 2026, that Serengeti Mkwawa Rally, is the official name of the fourth and final round of this years National Rally Championship to rev off in Morogoro in September this year.

The events coordinator and title sponsor, Ahmed Huwel confirmed it upon landing at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam after his excellent performance in the Rwandas Mountain Gorilla Rally over the weekend.

“We expected to stage a spectacular event that will thrill everyone as all top drivers will be in Morogoro to showcase their driving skills,” said Huwel, who is also the winner of Tanzania top driver award for 2025.
