DODOMA, Aug. 3 -- THE Tanzanian government has underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration across key sectors to improve productivity and accelerate development in agriculture, livestock and fisheries, with the aim of making the sectors key drivers of Tanzanias economic growth.

The remarks were made by the Minister for Finance, Mr Khamis Mussa Omar, during a visit to the Dr John Samwel Malecela Grounds in Nzuguni, Dodoma, where he toured exhibitions and activities at the ongoing 33rd International Agriculture Exhibition 2026.
