DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 21 -- MORE than 1.58 million Standard Four pupils have been registered for the National Assessment Test that starts from tomorrow, October 22nd to 23rd, 2025.
Of these, 764,290 are boys, or 48.31 percent, while 817,850 are girls, or 51.69 percent, in 20,517 schools.
Speaking to the media outlets today in Dar es Salaam, the Executive Secretary of the Examinations Council, Prof. Said Ally Mohamed, said that 1,475,637 pupils, equivalent to 93.27 percent, will take the examination in Kiswahili, while 106,503 pupils, equivalent to 6.73 percent, will take the examination in English.
