DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 23 -- THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has received credentials from the Ambassador-Designate of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tanzania, Mohammad Javad Hemmatpanah, during a ceremony held at the Ministrys sub-offices in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking after receiving the credentials, Minister Kombo congratulated Ambassador Hemmatpanah on his appointment and assured him of the close cooperation of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in the discharge of his diplomatic duties in the country.
