DOHA, April 10 -- THE Tanzanian envoy to Qatar, Habibu Awesi Mohamed, met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Faisal Al Thani of Shaheen Energy to discuss ways to expand investment opportunities in Tanzanias oil and gas sector.

The meeting, held recently in Doha, focused on reviewing the results of a technical assessment conducted jointly by Shaheen Energy and the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation. The assessment produced positive results, with Shaheen Energy expressing intentions to invest approximately 500m US dollars in Tanzanias energy sector.
