ARUSHA, March 10 -- THE Republic of Ireland plans to invest in vegetable farming and horticulture in Tanzania, as well as other economic and social opportunities.
Irelands Ambassador to Tanzania, Nicola Brennan, announced this today, March 9, 2026, in Arusha during her meeting with the Regional Commissioner of Arusha, Amos Makalla, stating that the purpose of the visit is to strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation between Tanzania and Ireland.
During their discussions, Mr Makalla commended Ireland for remaining a development partner in Tanzania, saying the arrival of the Minister reflects the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
