DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 23 -- THE Tanzanian government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United Nations (UN) in promoting and protecting peace, strengthening national institutions and advancing sustainable development for the benefit of citizens.

The Minister for Constitution and Legal Affairs, Abdallah Ulega, made the statement during celebrations marking the 81st anniversary of the United Nations, held in Dar es Salaam on October 23, 2026.
