DAR ES SALAAM, June 26 -- The Minister of State in the Prime Ministers Office for Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, Deus Sangu, has urged employers in the country to take advantage of the penalty waiver issued by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) to settle outstanding employee contribution arrears.

He said the initiative would help reduce business operating costs, increase productivity, and contribute to national economic growth.

Minister Sangu said the waiver is part of the Sixth-Phase Governments efforts under President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan to improve the business environment, strengthen social security systems, and address challenges facing employers in order to enhance productivity in the private sect...
