DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 9 -- TANZANIA has welcomed the English Premier League Trophy for the first time, giving football fans an opportunity to experience one of the most prestigious symbols of world football during its East African tour.

The Trophy arrived in Dar es Salaam on October 9, 2026, as the first stop of a three-country regional tour that will also take it to Uganda and Kenya.

The two-day visit, scheduled for October 9 and 10, will feature an exclusive Trophy experience at The Super Dome and a mass match-viewing event, known as Guinness Matchday, at the Kinondoni Municipal Councils KMC Stadium on October 10.
