DODOMA, April 30 -- TANZANIA is expected to make a significant entry into the global helium value chain following a landmark partnership process with Helium One Global, with State Participation Agreements scheduled to be signed on May 2, 2026.

According to information from the Ministry of Minerals, the official signing ceremony of State participation agreements for the development and extraction of helium gas between Tanzania and Helium One Global Limited to be implemented through a joint venture company, Songwe Helium Limited will pave the way for the development of the Southern Rukwa Helium Project, one of the most promising helium ventures in Africa.
