Tanzania explores ways of bolstering its labour market in Saudi Arabia, Gulf states
DODOMA, Aug. 25 -- TANZANIAN Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Zena Ahmed Said, has met with stakeholders in the employment sector to explore ways of increasing job opportunities for Tanzanians, improving working conditions and strengthening their competitiveness in the Saudi Arabian and wider Middle Eastern labour markets.
During the meeting, stakeholders discussed challenges facing private employment agencies in the process of registering Tanzanians who secure jobs in Saudi Arabia, as well as challenges encountered by Tanzanian workers while employed in the country.
