DODOMA, April 30 -- THE Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy responsible for Petroleum and Gas, James Mataragio has said that the government is continuing to take necessary measures to protect the economy and ensure a reliable supply of petroleum products.
The PS made the statement today, April 30,2026, in Dodoma, during a stakeholders meeting while stressing the need for coordinated action among all institutions involved in the fuel supply chain.
According to Dr Mataragio full commitment from stakeholders is essential for the successful implementation of government strategies aimed at maintaining stability in the petroleum sector.
