DODOMA, Sept. 18 -- The government has started preparations for World AIDS Day celebrations and marking 25 years since the establishment of the Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS).

Permanent Secretary in the Prime Ministers Office (Policy, Parliament, Coordination and Persons with Disabilities), Dr Jim Yonazi, held a meeting with TACAIDS management led by Executive Director Dr Adam Mrisho to discuss preparations for the two events.

The meeting focused on strengthening coordination of activities for the celebrations while ensuring continued national efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
