Tanzania earns 17bn US dollars from exports of minerals, agricultural products
DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- TANZANIA‘S exports of goods and services reached nearly 17bn US dollars last year, driven by strong growth in minerals, agriculture and manufacturing, as the country continues to expand its footprint in regional and global markets, Minister for Industry and Trade, Judith Kapinga said today, July 3, 2026. .
Speaking at the opening of the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba), Ms Kapinga said Tanzanias economic diplomacy under President Samia Suluhu Hassan has opened new export markets, strengthened economic cooperation with other countries, attracted more investors and improved the countrys position in regional and global trade value chains.
