MTWARA, Nov. 3 -- THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation has continued to educate the public on the Draft Constitution of the East African Community (EAC) Political Confederation, engaging various stakeholders in Mtwara Region as part of efforts to deepen public understanding and encourage citizens participation in the regional integration process.

The exercise, held today, November 2, 2026, was officially opened by Newala District Commissioner Musa Ramadhani Sima, who represented Mtwara Regional Commissioner Colonel Donald Msengi. It brought together government leaders, private sector representatives, religious institutions, civil society organisations, youth, women and special interest groups.
