DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 5 -- UGANDAN President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, is expected to arrive in Tanzania today for an official visit at the invitation of President Samia Suluhu Hassan, with the two leaders set to hold talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

A statement issued by the Directorate of Presidential Communications, Bakari Machumu said today, August 5, 2026, that the leaders will discuss ways to deepen cooperation in key sectors, including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, transport, defence and security, as well as other regional issues.
