GEITA, Oct. 4 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has directed the Ministry of Minerals to strengthen the management of the mining sector in order to enhance productivity in line with the countrys Development Vision 2050.

Dr Nchemba issued the directives on Saturday of October 03rd, 2026 during the closing ceremony of the Ninth National Mining Technology Exhibition held at the Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan grounds in Geita Municipal Council.

He said that, in line with the theme of the exhibition, “Minerals are Wealth, Let Us Take Responsibility Together,” everyone has a responsibility to effectively manage the mining sector in order to achieve the objectives of National Vision 2050.
