MWANZA, June 25 -- THE Ministry of Health, through its Emergency and Disaster Management Unit, in collaboration with the Prime Ministers Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) and CIHEB Tanzania under the Global Health Security Project, is strengthening the countrys emergency and critical care systems through hands-on Ebola preparedness training for health workers.

The initiative focuses on improving readiness at health facilities in responding to infectious disease outbreaks while ensuring the safety of both patients and frontline health workers. The training is being conducted at Buchosa District Council Hospital in Mwanza Region.
