MWANZA, July 18 -- THE Minister for Minerals,Mr Antony Mavunde, has said the government will continue to issue licenses to groups that meet the conditions, as part of a strategy to enable small-scale miners to fully participate in the development of the mining sector.

Minister Mavunde said this today, July 18, 2026, during the issuance of mining licenses to 30 groups of youth and women from Kwimba and Misungwi Districts where the event was held at Mhande ward in Mwanza.
