VIENNA, Sept. 18 -- TANZANIA has begun developing human resources in Nuclear Science and Technology at both local and foreign institutions, to build national capacity and reduce reliance on foreign experts.
The move aims at ensuring the safety and sustainability of nuclear technology use in the country.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Prof Carolyne Nombo, made the statement in Vienna, Austria, during a special meeting with the Director of the Africa Division at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Dr Gashaw Wolde, on the sidelines of the 69th IAEA General Conference.
