DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 12 -- THE Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Cosato Chumi, has revealed that many Spanish companies have expressed interest in investing in Tanzania, citing that is an indication of the growing strength of economic and investment relations between the two countries.
He made the statement during the celebration of Spains National Day in Dar es Salaam, noting that the companies are eyeing to invest in the sectors of agriculture, mining, energy, ICT, and infrastructure.
In his speech, Mr Chumi stated that Tanzania values the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of their people.
