Tanzania banks on economic diplomacy to position itself as EAC, SADC's business hub
DODOMA, May 26 -- THE Tanzanian government said it is committed to strengthen economic diplomacy in promoting investment, trade, tourism, education and employment opportunities so as to position itself as Eastern and Southern Africas business hub.
Presenting the Ministrys budget estimates for the 2026/2027 financial year in Parliament on May 26, 2026, Tanzanias Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, said the ministry had recorded notable achievements through the implementation of the countrys Foreign Policy of 2001, 2024 Edition.
