DAR ES SALAAM, March 4 -- THE Tanzanian government has hailed the completion of the Civil Aviation Training College (CATC), saying it will help increase the production of skilled professionals in the countrys aviation sector as it will reduce the shortage of internationally qualified graduates.
Minister of Transport, Professor Makame Mbarawa, made the remarks today, March 4, 2026, during his visit to Dar es Salaam to inspect the progress of the colleges construction under the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA).
He added that Tanzania still faces a significant shortage of aviation professionals, and the college will serve as a key source for producing graduates who meet international standards.
