DAR ES SALAAM, April 15 -- THE Director of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador John Ulanga, has met and held talks with the Ambassador of Egypt to Tanzania, Sherif Ismail, in Dar es Salaam.

The meeting aimed to review the development of economic diplomatic relations and discuss strategic opportunities for cooperation, particularly in strengthening transport and logistics infrastructure in Tanzania.

The discussions focused on the proposal to expand the Dar es Salaam Port, where the Egyptian government has expressed its interest in contributing to shipping and cargo logistics issues.
