LUSAKA, Sept. 18 -- THE Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has been awarded two accolades, presented to Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) for innovation and sustainable environmental development at the airports.

Information released by the authority on Thursday noted that the recognition is also for the solid steps taken by the two airports in reducing environmental impacts, as part of the global aviation industrys response to climate change challenges.
