LUSAKA, June 16 -- TANZANIA and Zimbabwe have agreed to9 broaden bilateral ties, with insistence on preserving and deepening the longstanding relations established by the founding leaders; Mwalimu Julius Nyerere and Robert Mugabe

This came after the Tanzanian IAN Ambassador to Zambia, Engineer Cyprian Luhemeja, held talks with Zimbabwes Ambassador to Zambia, Charity Charamba, who also serves as the Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Zambia, in a meeting aimed at strengthening diplomatic cooperation and advancing Africas development agenda.

During the discussions, Ambassador Luhemeja formally introduced himself to Ambassador Charamba following the commencement of his diplomatic assignment in Zambia.
