DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 12 -- THE Deputy Minister for  Transport, David Kihenzile, has inaugurated a new reach stacker machine for the Zambian company Zambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) at Mukuba Depot in Dar es Salaam, highlighting it as a key step in strengthening Tanzania-Zambia cooperation in the transport sector.

Speaking at the event, Kihenzile praised ZCL for increasing its cargo throughput from 15,649 containers in 2021 to over 40,000 containers in 2025, a move that reflects efficiency and substantial investment in the infrastructure of the Port of Dar es Salaam.
