DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 24 -- TANZANIA and Vietnam have agreed to implement resolutions reached during the Second Session of the Joint Commission for Cooperation (JPC), held in Tanzania from September 21 to 23, 2026, with the aim of strengthening political, diplomatic, economic and social cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Tanzanias Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, James Millya, on behalf of Tanzania, and Vietnams Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Nguyen Hoang Hiep, on behalf of Vietnam, during a ceremony held at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam on September 23, 2026.
