KAMPALA, Oct. 16 -- THE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Cosato Chumi, held talks with Venezuelas Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for African Affairs, Yuri Pimentel, on the sidelines of the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial Meeting currently taking place in Kampala, Uganda.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various ways to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and Venezuela, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and tourism.

Both sides expressed a strong commitment to enhancing these relations for the benefit of the citizens of both nations.
