Tanzania, Uganda move to share experience on local participation in oil and gas projects
DODOMA, Oct. 8 -- TANZANIA and Uganda are set to deepen the exchange of experience on local participation in oil and gas projects, as both countries seek to address challenges limiting the involvement of their citizens in the sector.
Director General of the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA), Engineer Charles Sangweni, said the two countries will continue sharing experience on mechanisms for ensuring greater participation of local businesses and professionals in petroleum activities.
