NEW YORK, Sept. 30 -- THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Dr Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has held talks with Qatars Prime Ministers Adviser for Public Health Affairs, Dr Hanan Mohamed, on ways to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and Qatar, particularly in the health sector.

The two met on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States, where they also exchanged views on various global health and development issues.

Minister Kombo commended the Government of Qatar for its important contribution to global development and its longstanding support for international health and development agendas.
