DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 10 -- TANZANIA have dropped three places in the latest FIFA World Rankings released by the world football governing body, FIFA, on October 7 this year. In the rankings, Tanzania fell from 112th to 115th position.

The drop follows Taifa Stars 2-0 defeat to GuineaBissau before drawing 1-1 with Madagascar in their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches for next years finals. While Tanzania dropped in the rankings, Rwanda climbed from 128th to 119th position after securing a 2-1 victory over Cape Verde before beating Liberia 3-1 in their subsequent match.
