DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 24 -- A national football team cannot prepare effectively for major international competitions if basic logistical needs remain unresolved. For Tanzanias Taifa Stars, dependable transportation has now received a significant boost after the National Bank of Commerce (NBC) handed over a new Yutong bus valued at more than 500m/- to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).

The contribution comes as Tanzania intensifies preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be jointly hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027. The tournament will be the first AFCON edition jointly hosted by three countries, adding significance to preparations across the region.
