MWANZA, Sept. 25 -- TANZANIA Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC) has invested approximately 3bn/- in the procurement of various laboratory equipment, a move aimed at enhancing its capacity to conduct tests, inspections, and research related to the safe use of nuclear technology in the country.

TAECs Director of Technology and Technical Services, Dr. Remigius Kawala, said that this investment is part of the Commissions efforts to boost its ability to deliver professional services with accuracy and in compliance with accepted standards.
