DAR ES SALAAM, April 11 -- The Tanzania Bus Owners Association (TABOA) has announced that transport services will continue as normal following successful talks with the government.

Speaking today, TABOA Secretary General, Priscus John, said the decision comes after the association had earlier threatened to suspend services from April 12 if fares were not increased.

He noted that the Sixth Phase Government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan demonstrated responsiveness by dispatching the Minister for Transport, Prof. Makame Mbarawa, who held discussions with TABOA leaders and listened to their concerns.
