DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 4 -- TAB Group Chief Executive Officer, Tahir Bari, says Tanzania is emerging as an important gateway for business in the East African region, citing the countrys significant agricultural opportunities and investment-friendly environment that is attracting interest from international companies.

Bari said Tanzania has been part of TAB Groups plans for a long time, a development that led the company to organise the 10th Global Africa Agri Expo in Tanzania for the first time, alongside the 3rd Agriculture, Livestock and Poultry Expo.

He made the remarks on September 3, 2026, in Dar es Salaam during the exhibitions held at the Saba Saba Fairgrounds, which attracted participants from Tanzania and abroad.
